A high energy Matariki celebration of eight dynamic dance works including Haka - a contemporary version of the mighty challenge, Moko - exploring the art of body tattoo, Koru - inspired by the iconic spiral design and a spunky version of Poi E Thriller – as seen in the smash hit Kiwi move Boy. Choreographed by long time Atamira member Dolina Wehipeihana the full cast work fuses kapa haka with Michael Jackson moves. The revered Maori dance company’s earlier season, entitled Hou, sold out.
